Hockey {Sunday In My City}

Brandon has been playing hockey for seven years.

7 years of getting up early for games, smelly equipment, cold ice rinks, late night practices, clinics, private lessons, traveling, checking, penalties, two concussions, winning, losing, tournaments, cheering loudly...
I am proud to be a HOCKEY MOM!

I am proud of my SON!

I look forward to many more years of watching him play hockey!!

Visit Unknown Mami's Sunday in my city...to look out someone else's part of the world.

  6. I think any child that has an activity, the Mom has to be dedicated... and the glow on the inside is amazing when you watch them.

    Keetha, Brandon's concussions were very mild (thank goodness). He has been very lucky and hasn't had serious injuries.

    Barbara, Ja, Ich bin sehr stolz auf meinen Sohn.

  8. Back in the day I was a Band Mom. So I understand your dedication and your sons to each other, the sport and team and game. Continue to enjoy. Take care.

  9. My son plays floor hockey, not quite as intense or fast as ice, but you sure do get caught up in that puck getting close to the net - either end. And I swear us moms get more worked up than the dads.

  10. Way to go, Brandon....and Mom!

    We don't even have ice hockey where we live. I'm surprised you didn't mention any broken, chipped, or missing teeth. That is quite the accomplishment after 7 years ;)
