Friday Fragments

Happy Friday!!!!

My husband snoring could wake up the dead.  I exaggerate not!  I am the type of person who needs it to be so quiet you could hear a pin drop.  For the last two weeks he has been sleeping on the couch because I cannot sleep with the loud snoring.  I found this product in Target and tried them last night.
They work!  My husband was able to sleep in our bed again!
He was so excited.
I slept like a baby!
Our cat Libby is a bit protective of her food and water dishes ever since we got our new kitty, Corbie.

And, of course I have to find a funny hockey picture to make my week all that better.

 Have a GREAT WEEKEND!

  4. Great Friday fragments! Wow, that is one rotund cat. Looks like she doesn't want to take any chances on someone sneaking her food! I had a cat once, Bud, the Bud-man, that I had to put on a diet. It was so hard. I felt bad, like I was starving him. Lucy is the total opposite. She eats anything she wants and has never been anything but slim. I guess they're like people that way - different metabolism or behavioral tendencies... or both!

  5. We adopted Libby and she was already "rotund" as Brenda delicately mentioned. I tried putting her on a diet, but I felt so guilty.. she meowed ALL the time! Now that we have Corbie, Libby moves around a lot more (chasing Corbie). Perhaps the exercise will do her good.

  6. Ah!!! I'm going to have to try the ear plugs, maybe there IS hope of a good night sleep without constantly elbowing my hubby and telling him to turn over!! Here from Friday Fragments!

  7. Libby is a cutie pie, rotund or not. LOVE how she's so protective of her stuff, not wanting to share with Corbie. I hope they've made friends with each other by now. I know it takes a while. My hubby snores too. Throughout the years, you get used to having a freight train in bed. LOL Take care.

  8. I need to get those plugs for when Mr. O is watching TV. Loudly. and is so reluctant to turn the volume down that he has worn me out. So I am getting them.

2 weeks on the couch! WOW!

Libby is very cute. And we have the same dish.

Glad you are enjoying my Santa Monica report. I cannot tell you how nice it was to get out of the cold, even for only 4 days! xoxo

  9. I use those ear plugs myself & LOVE them!!!! I've used them to sleep & at concerts. Old? Maybe - but for me, they take out the distortion of concerts & I can hear better. Who knew?

  10. I once had a college roommate move out on me because of my snoring, and we had all the same friends... THAT was embarrassing!!!!

  11. That is TOO funny. I actually almost bought those exact earplugs for the same reason. I ended up going with some purple ones instead ;) Unfortunately, I need to hear the alarm to wake up, so I can only use them on weekends. I'm a little jealous of you right now!

  14. Stefan is a big snorer, too. We found that Breathe Right strips help (most of the time but not always). Maybe your husband should give them a try.

    Your cat is cute!

  15. Love the baby picture. A friend and I were cracking up at basketball this morning because one of the boys has a baby sister who was sleeping and the clapping woke her up and she was just looking at everyone like, "Are you done yet?"
