Super Bowl Party

It has become a tradition to host a super bowl party at our house.
Todd starts the party off by having a pre-game poker party.
Zachary beat seven men and won $90.00!
I tend to over do it with the food because I am always afraid I wont have enough.  I had so many left overs. This is my left-over spread!
We topped off the evening with a Super Bowl theme cake from Costco.
I'm neither a Giants nor Patriots fan. So I didn't care who won.
I enjoyed the Madonna 1/2 time show and some of the commercials.

I hope those who watched enjoyed the game!

7 pretty purplexing comments:

  1. Fun and wow what a spread! I'm happy the Giants won..thought it was a great game...loved the half time show and all the commercials! We had football nachos for dinner and cupcakes! Simple...but good! Happy Monday!

  2. I enjoyed the half-time show and some of the commercials, too. Didn't care a thing about the game though. We also had lots of left-overs...

  3. WOW! That's a HUGE table of food. You did an AMAZING job feeding your guests. LEFTOVERS mean no cooking later in the week. YIPPEE! I was so happy watching the commercials, halftime show and game. But eating the wings got a bit messy. And my cats wouldn't leave me alone trying to steal one for themselves. LOL Take care. PS) men take poker seriously. Your son's WIN was very impressive.

  5. Fun times- I know, I always worry about the food situation too, I always think I have to have such a variety incase someone does not like something.

  6. Oooo I like the idea of the pregame poker party. I bet that would get my husband happier about hosting. I may have to think about that for next year. I'm with you on the leftovers. I haven't eaten anything but Super Bowl food since Sunday afternoon, and our fridge is still full!
