TGIF

~I have poison all over my face and hands.  I'm itchy, cranky and itchy!  This weekend is supposed to be sunny and close to 90.  I won't be able to enjoy it because my poison will feel much worse in the heat!

First thing I sold on Ebay.
~I sold a few things on Ebay for the first time.  Ebay has estimates of what items may cost to ship.  So far I've been taking their advise but ended up undercharging for shipping, therefore not making much of a profit.  I learned a valuable lesson.

~Yesterday was the boys last day of school.  The summer begins with hormonal, know-it-all teenage boys! Yeah for me! ;-)

~Ahren (my eldest, who recently moved out) has stopped by a few times on his lunch hour and once to harass his baby (14 year old) brother, Brandon. Some things never change.

TGIF!  Happy Weekend!

  2. Hope the itching goes away quickly. That is not a pleasant feeling. My condolences to Zachary on his loss. Dealing with death is never pleasant but in these circumstances, it is more challenging I would imagine.

  3. Ouch. All that itching must make you uncomfortable for sure. Hope that poison goes away soon. It is hard to lose a friend. But when they die at their own hand it is even harder, because of all the unanswered questions. As for EBay I did it for years. If you look back in my past posts you can find one or two stories about my experiences. The cost of postage. The wrapping, packing and driving to the post office with gas prices being what they are, gets costly. Good luck with it. Take care. Feel better soon.

  4. Ouch! All that itching must be driving you crazy ... my daughter had a horrible case of poison ivy on her arm that took a good 6 weeks or longer to clear up. All the itching drove her crazy.

Praying for Zachary as he deals with the loss of his friend. It's got to be hard on him ... so many questions, so much wondering why and what if.

  5. Hope the itching goes away. My condolences to Zach on his friend's suicide - we had a close friend of my goddaughter's commit suicide almost a year ago and they've started a foundation at sashbear.org

  6. "Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem". I read that line a long time ago and never forgot it. So sorry about Zach's friend. What a shame!

  7. Certainly some serious and sad fragments here - I wish everyone quick healing in both body and spirit. Even as adults my brother and sisters tease each other some but my brother stopped hitting me a long time ago.

  12. I add my sympathies for your sad fragments. I feel for you with the itching in the heat, for sure. But I sure feel sad for your son and the others who are dealing with post suicide questions. So, so sad!!!

  14. Glad to hear the poison ivy is drying up--That sounds miserable!

I'll bet that street sign is very much appreciated by it's new owner. I've never sold anything on Ebay, but I know a lot of people who do. Good luck.

So sorry for your son; such a young age to be faced with such a huge loss.

Thanks for linking up. Have a peaceful weekend.

  15. Your poison sounds terrible! Ugg! I sold a tool on e-bay once for 30 dollars. E-bay underestimated the shipping by $ 25 ~ After I bought packaging and bubble wrap to ship safely I lost 24 dollars. ~ It was not cool! LOL! last time I did e-bay.

Your son ~ Gee, I'm so sorry about this. It's just terrible. One of my good friends son killed himself. ~ She did an 18 mile walk last weekend called "out of the darkness." It's very sad ~ I don't know how a parent could ever get through it.

    xoxo
