Friday Fragments

It's been awhile since I have done a Friday Fragment.  The summer took up so much time, that I hadn't been blogging much.  Now that school is beginning soon, I am hoping to get back into the swing of things.
For bits and pieces of a bloggers life, check out Mrs. 4444s at Half-Past Kissin' Time.

~I've been preparing the new curriculum for pre-school.  There is a lot of new fun things I found and I can't wait to try them.

~I wish I had a clothesline to hang up my laundry.  My old house had one and I loved the smell of the clothes after drying in the sun.  Our new home doesn't have one and my husband isn't to keen on having a clothesline in his perfect lawn.  :(

~My father-in-law is turing 70 and grandmother is turning 90 in a few weeks.

~My niece is in the hospital.  She is doing much better and will be home by Sunday.  :)

~I joined a gym!  Yay me!  I've been going regularly and even been watching my calorie intake.

~I put away the kiddie pool.  The official end of summer at Aunt Tami's House.

  1. Gearing up for a new year of preschool for the kids must be fun. Congrats on the gym. Glad your niece is doing better. I say HANG UP THOSE CLOTHES outside, if that's what you want. Autumn has been in full swing here at my house since the end of July. Take care.

  2. This is my first house without a clothesline, and I must say that I don't miss it. Clothes hung out on the line never got as soft as they do in the dryer.

I'm so glad your niece is doing so much better.

And good for you for going to the gym. I need to go today.

  3. I have never used a clothes line but have a drying rack I've put outside when sunny out. End of summer and start of fall.....I'm ready as I'm sure you are too. Are you on Pinterest? Lots of crafts and curriculum ideas on there.
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Do you have any links you can share with me or preschool curriculum? Put Pie is 4 and we have not been able to get her into a public pre-school that we are okay with...so I need to work with her at home.

  5. I haven't had a clothesline in the yard since I was a little girl. We aren't allowed to have them in our subdivision. Which is odd because it's not like we live in an upscale neighborhood or anything. I remember running through the sheets when they were on the line...I can even smell them. And rushing out to get everything off the line before it started to rain. Clotheslines are great! Glad your niece is healing!

  6. There is a village ordinance against clotheslines where we live. I guess someone decided years ago that they didn't look good. I probably miss kiddie pools more than clotheslines.

  11. Prayers for your niece. Glad she will be okay!

I am not "allowed" to have a clothesline in my neighborhood. I miss it too!

  12. I wish I had a clothesline too. guess I should have thought about that before we cut down the big tree in the backyard. My garden loves the new sun though - there's the silver lining.
Pools officially put away here too....so of course, my kids are whining for them even though last time I filled it up, no one went it.

  13. This summer just vanished. Poof. Gone.

A clothesline would be fun! Maybe your Hubby would consider a corner for the clothesline...

  15. My problem is always getting there. Once I am there I am fine.

  16. I do not wish for a clothesline! I had to hang clothes for all of my childhood and there were a lot of us! It wasn't that it was hard, just so perpetual! :)

Good for you joining the gym! Keep at it and not like me. I was a faithful gym goer for many years and then just stopped cold turkey! Now we are walking almost every day or riding bikes, but I've just dropped the gym thing! :(

  17. no...not the kiddie pool! :(It really is the end, isn't it? Sadly, I did not get around to exercising this summer, though I have been eating fairly well. I'm the same weight I started with this summer, but it's kind of flabby.

Have fun at those birthday bashes :)

Thanks for linking up! I hope you have a beautiful Sunday.

  18. My nephew turned two. He is a cutie! His birthday party was yesterday and it was fun to watch a little one tear the wrapping paper apart, giggling away. Happy Sunday to you too!
