White Christmas

The day before Christmas it snowed a few inches.
We haven't had a white Christmas since I was a little girl.
This is the view I woke up to on Christmas morning.

  2. This is a disqus comment form, just so you know. I'm all signed in and can even see my little disqus avatar. My very own little smiling face.

Today's THEME over at SIMC has turned into "snow in my city." Of course you KNOW I love that!

  3. A HA! Tami, I came back to SEE how my disqus comment looks on your blog. The comment is THERE but it says I'm you and it's YOUR smiling face I see.

I bet the "error" is somewhere in how you signed up to use disqus. It must be disqus that is making all your commenters into you.

THIS comment that I'm writing right now is back on the google comment form. I did NOTHING to switch between the two other than leave your blog and come back. THIS time google was up.

  4. Crazy! I went away and came back again. Disqus is back, WITH MY OWN PICTURE, but the google comment I left a second ago isn't here.

I believe the comment ghost of blogging past is haunting your comment forms.

That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it.

  6. We had the same-so pretty! We got about 6 inches of snow yesterday and it's beautiful. Happy New Year!

  7. It wasn't bad. Today though the wind is bitter cold and we have a few more inches on the ground.

  8. What the heck? I am baffled about the whole issue. I'm glad to see your smiling face!

  9. Christmas was lovely. Yesterday was not so good. We had to drive in blizzard conditions to get to (yep you guessed it) a hockey game. Have a wonderful day!

  10. We got about 3-4 inches yesterday. It is very pretty, but not fun to drive in. Today the winds are making it unbearable to be outdoors. Happy New Year to you too!

  11. Sorry that is never fun! I hope you are feeling good and Happy New Year to you all! xo

  12. Lovely! It makes Christmas so special. We woke to a dusting so the weatherman said it wasn't a white christmas but it was good enough for us.

  13. Seems like it is snowing everywhere. The birdhouse shot is very pretty.

  14. Love the Birdhouse shot! We had a white after christmas where we were, it was enough for me...

  15. A snow dusting counts as a white Christmas in my book.

  16. The birdhouse is next to the pond in our backyard. It's one of my favorite 'decorations'.

  21. I'm jealous! We were supposed to get snow for Christmas ... and although we did get some Friday night, it was just a half inch. That's just a tease. ;-)

  22. What a way to wake up on Christmas morning!

  23. We got over a foot in 24 hours! But that's pretty much par for the course for us. I can't imagine seeing grass on Christmas morning. although, I wouldn't mind sand and surf just once. :)

  24. Sounds like we need to take a trip and visit Kerry!!

  25. That is a tease! I'm sure you and I will get a lot of snow within the next couple of months and we will be wishing for that teaser. lol

  27. I felt like a little kid looking out the window and seeing the ground covered with snow. Wahooo!

  28. Beautiful! I'm technnically below snow line but get hit about 5 times a year with a good dousing - just enough to satisfy the New England girl I was without having to dig myself out every single day of the winter months.

  29. I arrived in PA last night but most of the snow is gone. I'm okay with that. It's colder here than where I live! Glad you got to enjoy the pretty whiteness.
