I can see! {Wordless Wednesday}

I'm trying contacts again.
The doctor ordered bi-focal contacts.
I have a trial pair but the script isn't quite right.
Next week will be the big test whether or not they will work.

Now, if I could just get the dang things in and out without an issue, all would be good!

  1. I've been contemplating using contacts again ever since my 9 year-old got hers. I'm still not sure though because last time wasn't so great. Good luck. Hope you got the one out last night! :)

  2. Good luck! I hope it all works out for you. I'd love to wear contacts but I have chronic dry eye so it's no good for me. So, all I can do is walk around with my reading and distance glasses on my head and/or handing off my shirt... cuz I refuse to get bifocals all the time yet.

  3. Finally did get it out. I was able to "pinch" it (the advise of a good friend) instead of dragging it (the advise of my son). That's what I get for listening to a 15 year old! LOL

  4. I do have bifocal glasses and I HATE THEM! I can't stand wearing glasses! Hopefully I can get this contact thing down pat. :-D

  5. "Next week will be the big test whether or not they will work." Hmm, will you be putting a big sign on your car to warn the traffic?
    I had trouble with contacts and finally gave up. The doctor told me that my eye shape was too flat.

  6. LOL. my husband is having the same problem. 1/2 hour he's in there trying to put that sucker in and I just walk in and have my done in 30 seconds. I had to tease him "come on soldier....just touch your eyeball, whatcha fraid of?" It was too funny. I hope you have better luck than he has so far!

  7. It took me awhile to get used to my bi-focal glasses. I can't imagine contacts at all. How do those work as bi-focals? Best wishes as you get used to them!

  8. Contacts or glasses. It doesn't matter. I need a traffic sign with the luck I've been having in my car! Ha!
