1. old high school/Alma mater tshirt
EGADS **TOSS IT** I really would prefer to forget about my high school years!
2. love letter from old flame who broke your heart
EGADS **BURN IT** I married a great guy and I keep all his love letters! No need to keep anything else.

3. engagement ring -- from when you said "no"
EGADS **SELL IT** Actually I did say "no" once (okay maybe twice) and gave back the ring. There wasn't a **RETURN IT** option to choose from. ;-)

4. vinyl edition of what was "your song" - you can download from iTunes anyway.
DEFINITELY **KEEP IT** I admit I do not own a 'vinyl edition' but I have kept the CD for sentimental reasons. What would you do?

I agree with 3 out of 4 :) I'd actually keep my old high school t-shirts... its fun to look how they change through the years. The mascots always get a face lift throughout the years :)
ReplyDeleteTrue! When looking back at my band uniform, I cringe! How hideous! =)
ReplyDeleteI've said no a few times too but have never kept the ring.
ReplyDeleteI returned the ones I received that didn't work out.... but in hindsight they would have been some pretty good items to sell!
ReplyDeleteI still have all my yearbooks -- that's enough of a trip down memory lane for me. My hubby was looking through them the other day...reading all the comments....on almost every page. Pages literally covered. He's like "oh my, weren't we popular." Honey...it was 20 years ago, let it go. LOL
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you join me today :)
I have the yearbooks too. Left Brain has a sense of humor! =))
ReplyDeleteNo love letters here....a few snap shots and a promise ring I should probably get rid of!
ReplyDeleteYou missed the "egads" on your last bullet point! =)
ReplyDeletethat list is too short.
ReplyDeletehow about the old bail bond card you had that's worthless today.
I agree keep the vinyl and destroy those letters unless you could get blackmail money for them. On second thought forget that advice old flames will just burn your ass in the end.
I've kept CDs too but not the vinyl. I can always play the CD on my computer
ReplyDeleteI didn't keep the rings either. That feels wrong to do so.
ReplyDeleteThere are things I need to throw out, out of respect for my husband, you know, old pictures etc. They hold no sentimental value to me so I wouldn't want anyone in the future to find them to think that they did.
ReplyDeleteEgads! How did I miss that?? LOL
ReplyDeleteGood advice Kerry. I have my prom pictures and those kind of pictures. Everything else has been trashed.
