Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. July 24th is Amelia Earhart Day.  Earhart was the first female to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.  What's something you've recently accomplished solo?
I started my own business. Well, it was in 2009 but I am very proud how is has thrived since then.

2.  What's one product you use that never ever fails?
Clinic products.  I contribute it to my skin looking as good as it does. If I don't use it, I get very oily and prone to acne.

3. Have you found your place in the world? Where is it?
A place to go?  I would say Ireland.  We took a trip there many years ago and it was like heaven.
A place where I belong? I'd say a preschool classroom.  It is very rewarding and satisfying.

4.  Worst movie you ever saw?
Any movie Will Ferrel is in.  I don't like that type of 'comedy'.

5. What's the last fun thing you did?
Having dinner and playing cards with our best friends.  It was a great time and WOW, did we laugh!

6. The month of July is named for Roman Emperor Julius Caesar...ever been to Rome? What's your favorite Italian dish?
I've never been to Rome.  I do, however, l.o.v.e. Italian food.  You name it, I will eat it!

7. What is one piece of advice you'd offer new mom Kate Middleton?
Take time to enjoy the little moments.  They only come along once.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.
It has been a long time since I have participated in Hodgepodge. I'm glad to be back!

  1. Way to go on your own business, that is an awesome accomplishment. Cards with friends or family is always a good time. Welcome back!

  5. If you lived nearby, I would take you up on that offer to go out for an Italian dinner! :-) Thanks for checking my status on your Bloglovin' page. Unfortunately, my follower count didn't carry through so that's why I was wondering if I lost the followers. My count seems to be starting over.

  6. Yes the child care business.
I don't think I ever did make a blog post about Ireland. We went in 2001. Prior to digital camera and blogs. Lol

  7. We don't need digital pictures. The first time I was there was back in 1989 and posted about it (I did scan a pic or two). The last time I was there was in the late 90's. Did you stay at B&B's? did you drive? Do the ring of Kerry? Oh sure places change some but the landscape doesn't change much.
