Spring something on Me {Wednesday Hodgepodge}

1.  Thursday marks the first day of spring...to celebrate would you rather plant a garden or go for a walk in the woods? Would either of those activities be possible on Thursday where you live?
Cucumbers from last years garden crop.
Tomatoes from my garden summer 2013.
Both.  I enjoy nature and I feel at peace when I am digging away in my garden.  As of now it's too cold to begin the garden.  If you bundle up warm enough and are a brace soul, then yes, a walk in the woods would be nice.

2. When did someone last spring something on you? (or when did you last spring something on someone?)
The first thing that comes to mind isn't something I did or someone did to me.  My best friends husband surprised her with a trip to Italy this summer for their wedding anniversary.  How cool is that??!!

Speaking of BFF… she gave me an iPad.  She spoils me!!

Speaking of being spoiled…the coach of Brandon's hockey team is planning a couples overnight trip (unknown destination) for himself, his wife, Todd and I.  It is a way of the coach thanking me for all the help I gave him by being the Team Manager during the hockey season.

Anyone else feeling generous enough to spring something on me, go ahead!  =D

3.  We often think of spring as a time for new beginnings. What's something you'd like to start doing this spring?
Walking, walking, walking.  Breathing the fresh air.  Feeling alive!

4. Where do you like to sit in a movie theatre? When did you last sit there, and what were you watching?
I love going to the movies.  I like to sit closer to the front, but not too close to get a crick in the neck.  The last movie I went to was on Christmas Eve.  Two of my sons and I went to see The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.

5. When you meet someone for the very first time, what do you want them to think about you?
No matter how many times people say "Don't care what they think"…. Deep down I really do care what people think of me.

6. March is frozen food month (yes, really!). Besides ice cream (gotta make you think a little) what's your most often purchased frozen food item?
Pizza and chicken wings.  Although I only have one growing boy left in the house, those purchases have been cut down.

7. What's something you avoid?
One particular person comes to mind.  I'll leave it at that.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Yesterday was Adam Levine's 35th birthday.

  6. oh you know I clicked those links! That's the kind of stuff you can spring on me anytime ;)

We are having quite the snow fall here tonight - so I guess Spring will be bypassing us for now. There won't be any walks with my camera for another couple of weeks I guess.

  9. It's still a bit chilly here, but it's better than tons of snow on the ground.

  10. Sorry to hear you are having more snow. That's awful! Our snow finally melted. Now my yard is nothing but mud! Which is lovely when our dog comes in the house tracking it everywhere.
