Friday Four Fill-In Fun

Each week, Hilary from Feeling Beachie lists four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to her at Hilary(at)feelingbeachie(dot)com.

 The statements:

1. ___ is ___
2. I am much better at ___ than ____
 3. In the winter I will ___ because____
4. Growing up I ate ____ but as a adult I eat ____

My Answers

  1. Reading a book is a way I can escape from the world.  Perhaps that is why I read a lot. ;-)
  2. I am much better at playing with children than relating to (some) adults.  =)  This is one reason I run a daycare / preschool.
  3. In the winter I will hibernate because I hate being cold.
  4. Growing up I ate meat but as a adult I eat  fruit and vegetables.  I do not consider myself as a "vegetarian".  I do, however, prefer not to eat me.

  1. That's my next question. Are you a vegetarian? You answered. Thanks.

  2. I can really relate to #1. Also #3, as I hibernate in Winter, too. I don't deal with ice well.

  3. I totally agree with you about why you read books. I like to escape too. :)

I also prefer veggies to meat, but I do like chicken.

ENJOY your weekend. I like your answers to all the statements.

  4. Definitely agree about reading books -- it's a wonderful escape. sometimes it's the only way to quiet down my brain. It makes me just focus on the story, and all that other "noise" just quiets down. I have a lot of brain noise. it's a problem. :)
I am going to complain and say yes! - winter hibernation! But of course, I know that won't be happening in reality. We dive right on it up here --- even if the fire and hot cocoa does seem more inviting. and a good book too, of course. LOL

  5. #2 - I don't believe I was always that way but I do seem to be that way now. The little kids at some family parties are the fun part. It would be tough to offend a two year old with any of my comments. Not so with adults.

Oh you might want to fix the typo - prefer not to eat meat.

  6. I'm with you on hibernating. I just saw that in Chicago, it's supposed to be just as bad or worse than it was last year. I'm ready to cry!

I like meat, as a kid I didn't so much but now I do so I guess we are opposite on that.

  10. reading is the greatest escape ever. especially from cold days! and I will read anything I've discovered. romance, sci fi, blogs (duh).... notes on a scrap of paper. I am finding the urge to devour words intensifies the older I get.
