I have been taking PRISTIQ since Tuesday. I cannot explain how much I feel better already. I'm not as tired, crabby, moody, angry, etc. I can think more clearly. The only sideaffect I am experiencing is a dry mouth. Last night when I went to bed I had this overwhelming feeling of happiness. I just wanted to giggle and shout to the world that "life was great"! I couldn't sleep at first because I was so happy that I wasn't unhappy!

According to the Pristiq website it says:
As an SNRI, PRISTIQ affects the levels of two neurotransmitters thought to play a key role in depression — serotonin and norepinephrine. Serotonin and norepinephrine are chemicals that occur naturally in the brain. While no one knows for sure what causes depression, many experts believe that it may occur when neurotransmitters are out of balance.
So that's me: Out of Balance! ha!
I wish everyone a good weekend and please pray for me that this medicine is the key to my unbalanced brain! :)

  5. I am so happy that you are starting to feel better. Hopefully the dry mouth will disappear. One drug I was on years ago, had the same effect, while it never went away completely, it did get better. I just never went far without a water bottle.

Your party and choice of food sounds delicious.

  6. Tami,
You are proactive! And look- your team won too.
