Happy Friday
~
Last week was a rough one. I stopped my antidepressant because it was making me tired. The doctor upped my mood-stabilizer. After the initial shock my body went through, I am doing much better this week. In fact I can see things much clearer. I am happy. I can handle stress easier.
~
My boys are seriously testing my patience.
~
I had plans to add a helper to my in-home day care. I was very excited about it. This week two of the parents decided to cut back their hours, which I understand… money is tight everywhere. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to afford to pay my helper.
~
I made my favorite dinner - Lasagna Rolls. Yummmm!
~
Saturday we leave on vacation for the beach. I need time off. I need time for me.
~

Have fun at the beach! :)
ReplyDeleteTake pictures too!
You know Uncle Todd will take kits of pictures!
DeleteLasagna Rolls and beach vacation - doesn't hurt to look on the bright side of the street.
ReplyDeleteTrust me. I am all smiles!
DeleteIn my parenting experience NOTHING tests our stress level as thoroughly as do our children.
ReplyDeleteThe good does out weigh the bad. :-)
DeleteThe beach! yay!
ReplyDeleteI am counting down the hours until we leave!
DeleteI'm glad that you are feeling better and more able to handle stress. I'm also thrilled that you will be getting some time "off" and you best take advantage and get your me time in.
ReplyDeleteI intend to! :-D
DeleteHave fun at the beach! i am so jealous!
ReplyDeleteThe beach will be fun. Driving in the car with 3 teenagers… ehhh.
DeleteI hope the shore is the relaxing time you need and you will come back refreshed! I hope you see snooki and Pauly! Which part are you heading to my younger sister is in Wildwood this week. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteNot to far from Wildwood. About an hour south from where we are staying.
DeleteSurf and sand sounds wonderful. ENJOY the beach, each and every moment. Glad you have readjusted to the change in meds. It takes alot out of you when you go through a change like that. You deserve that ME time. Take care.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your beach trip! Glad your meds adjustment is going well. Abilify by any chance ? I'm bipolar, so I get it... Sorry about your boys and your parents cutting back hours!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a relaxing beach stay and NO rain:) My daughter's ac is broken in her car and way too expensive to fix. I worry about her 3 little girls. I let her take my car as often as I can. I know it's crazy but I miss having 4 teens...
