She is the newest addition to my daycare.
Todd built a HUGE 6x6 sandbox for my day care kids.
They spent all week playing in it.
Did you know baby powder is a great trick for removing sand from hands and feet?
My new Home Screen on my iPhone.
Anyone remember these?
I collected them as a pre-teen. I even have some drinking glasses.
I wonder if they are considered antiques?
Medical
When I was sick with the flu, I wasn't taking my medications. I couldn't keep anything down, so why bother. Right? Well, silly me. When I did begin taking the Wellbutrin again, I swear I had two days of unending, bouncing off the walls, hyper-super-mom, non-stop-talking, wonder woman qualities. WOW!
All those little extra things that you put off for another day got done
AND my house is clean and sparkly!
On day three my levels evened out and I am back to my happy-go-lucky self.
=)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Your new little daycare addition is gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeletePrincess Nagger and Little Dude would be in seventh heaven with a 6x6 sandbox - go Todd! :)
Love your new home screen... ;)
I remember the Love Is... stuff - maybe not considered so much an antiquity as vintage - at least that's the story I'm going with. ;)
So if you ever get sick and forget to take your meds, then turn into bouncing off the walls mode, you're welcome to come clean my house if you need to burn excess energy. ;)

The medication level thing bothers me in a general way. Big pharma, over prescribing, etc. Good to know it's working for you.
ReplyDeleteNice smiling new customer/client for your daycare.
Mr. Levine - just curious - do you look past the ink or does the ink draw you in?
In the past I was very leery of medication. My depression got so bad that I decided to try medication. Thank goodness I did. I'm a whole different person. Meds are for everyone though. I do think some doctors prescribe way too many drugs. I am lucky to have a doctor who believe in "less" is better.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Mr. Levine: dark hair, dark eyes, 5 o'clock shadow and ink… does me in. Hubby has all the same traits, minus the tats. =)
Have a great weekend!
The sandbox didn't take long for him to make. It took longer to bring the sand home, load it on the tractor and dump it in the box.
ReplyDeleteVintage, I like it.
You will have to get in line in order for me to clean your house. My BFF already has first dibs. LOL
I don't remember that particular cartoon set. I wonder if they have splinters from sitting naked?
ReplyDeleteGREAT sandbox.
ReplyDeleteI remember those little cartoons!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of the baby powder tip but never tried it.
Oooh my goodness, those eyes. Your new little addition is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about Wellbutrin.
Love your blog : ) Great tip for removing sand thanks so much for sharing
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend x
The sandbox looks AMAZING!! Are you going to be able to keep neighborhood cats out of it?
ReplyDeleteYour new little cutie looks happy!
I remember the cartoons, too, and I love those glasses; I have a couple from Hardees restaurants, but mine have Loony Toons on 'em.
I'm glad you're feeling better all around :)Have a great weekend!
Thank you!! I hope you weekend was a good one!
ReplyDeleteMy Nanny would save the newspaper so I could cut them out. I had a notebook that I kept them in. I wonder whatever happened to it??
ReplyDeleteI was amazed at how well the baby powder worked!
Thanks!! =)
ReplyDeleteI don't think a dr would recommend it, even though it is tempting. LOL
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteI tried Wellbutrin in the past but it didn't work very well. Now my doctor gave it to me with a combination of another medicine. It works great!
I thought of the cats too. I keep a plastic tarp overtop of the sandbox when we aren't using it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen the Looney Toons on cups. I do remember McDonalds ones though.
I hope the weather is better where you are and that you had a wonderful weekend!!
I forgot about love is! I loved those, too! I'm glad you're over the flu, Tami. I hate being sick.
ReplyDeleteso glad to hear you are feeling better!!! yay for a clean house...always feels so good! the newest addition to your daycare is beautiful!! xoxox
ReplyDeleteYeah, I saw the tarp in your pic after I sent my comment. Good thinking! You'd hate to have one of the little tikes find a "brownie!"haha
ReplyDeleteThank goodness the flu has moved on. I can't believe I got it twice!!
