In Remembrance of the Sandy Hook CT victims.

There are some real heroes that need to remembered in this tragedy. Victoria Soto is a real hero. She stood in front of her students when the shooter entered her room. She tried to protect them and gave her life for theirs. Mary Sherlach and Dawn Hochsprung are also heroes. They attempted to disarm the shooter when he first started shooting. They risked their lives for these beautiful kids. We talk about policemen, firemen, and soldiers being heroes (and they are), but these women were unarmed and stood in the line fire to protect these children. I must say I am saddened by the loss of so many lives. It really is a tragedy. That being said, I can not convey how proud I am of these women for taking their stand. They were professionals who chose the field of helping kids and it is clear by their actions that they loved those kids deeply, so deeply in fact that they gave their lives. I stand in awe of their sacrifice.
