Happy Thanksgiving

Prozac Thanksgiving

Gobble, gobble

Ahren and I were driving home from work when we saw wild turkeys. I stopped to take their picture and the dogs went crazy! The picture is blurry because the turkeys started running when they heard to dogs barking.

First signs of winter

I woke up today to a very cold bedroom. brrrr. It was so nice under the blankets, I didn't want to get up! I confess, I took an extra 15 minutes just laying their enjoying the warmth. The dogs bouncing on the bed, barking, and trying to tell me they had to go potty, convinced me to get up. I was surprised to see a little bit of snow on the ground. Although it is November, this is the first day for the temperature to drop in the 30s.

Dads vs. Colonial boys team

Saturday morning the Dads played against the Kids hockey team. The moms got to cheer from the stands, which I preferred considering I can only skate forward! At one point the boys cleared the bench to jump on coach Murphy. Brandon even briefly filled in for the goalie when he decided to go after another dad! When coach Furst made a few "unfair" moves around the boys his wife shouted "Does it make you feel good to beat an 11 year old." Very enteraining morning!

Zach's 1st Lacrosse Game

Zach played his very first lacross game for the Middle School. The winter season is held indoor at 422sportsplex. The coach said he did not believe Zach never played before because the very first time Zach got the ball: he caught it, ran up the field and made a shot on goal. Coach Kasey said Zach was going to make a great player! The team won 10-8. We didn't get pictures this time (they turned out really dark).

Lacrosse

Zachary went to his first lacrosse practice last night. He really liked it. I couldn't believe how much lacrosse equipment cost!! I thought hockey was expensive!! I'll keep you posted with the schedule and games.
