Wedding Rehearsal

The wedding was held at the Wilkenwere (pronouced like welcome wear). It is an old colonial home surrounded by beautiful scenery and a lake. When you walk inside the home there is a gorgeous spiral staircase and large rooms filled with antique furniture.

Todd's brother (Chad) and his fiancee (Heather) got married over labor day weekend. They are pictured on the right. Brandon has the white and gray diamond shirt on and Todd is the best man wearing the black shirt, tan pants.

Todds parents on the left. Ahren and Zachary were groomsmen who helped the girls come down the steps during the wedding. It was an outdoor wedding and the stone steps were tricky in heals.

Heathers mom on the left.

Brandon was the ring boy and he helped my niece, Morgan. It was so cute!

Pocono Trip

In August we went to the Poconos with the Feltenberger family. Brandon plays hockey with Zak and they became fast friends.

These are pictures of Lake Ariel. We tried a paddle boat and ended up going in circles. About 45 minutes later we gave up and let the boys swim in the lake.

MVP

Brandon's hockey season began with an all weekend tournament. He played a game Friday night and three games on Saturday. Unfortunately his team didn't do well, so they didn't make the playoffs for Sunday's championship game. Brandon, however, played the best I have ever seen him. He learned a lot from the summer private lessons and clinics. The last game they played he earned MVP. He has such a big smile coming out of the locker room. How priceless was that?!

Cape May, NJ

If you haven't been to Cape May, NJ I would recommend you take the trip. It has such a cool, outdoor shopping area, victorian homes, beaches and my favorite - Uncle Bills Pancake House! We spent the day here and took a horse and carriage ride. The driver was so sweet and gave us the historic tour! We learned alot about Cape May and how it began. The homes began as colonial but there was a huge fire and destroyed most of the homes. They were then rebuilt in the victorian era, so that is why the homes all have such beautiful woodworking details to them.

At the Beach

Ocean City, NJ

We are at the beach, OC New Jersey. We are having a great time and I'm happy to say I am getting a nice tan too. Today we went to my favorite restaurant: Uncle Bills Pancake House. Had lunch at the boys favorite hoagie shop. We played minature golf, been laying on the beach, playing in the waves, riding on the rides, strolling thru town, walking the boardwalk, and having a relaxing time. Tomorrow we plan on going to Cape May.
