Downtown Philly

READING TERMINAL MARKETThe Reading Terminal Market is filled with homemade food, shops and PEOPLE!
It's always crowded.  It's always good.

CHINA TOWN
Does every major city have a Chinatown?

SOUTH STREET
The name says it all.  This store is unique and filled with a lot of *ahem* 'toys'.

SOUTH STREET
South Street is known for the party crowd on Friday and Saturday nights.

PENNS LANDING
You can see New Jersey from the port.

  1. So many cool things but I must say it is the first time I have seen such a "kingdom". Happy Sunday!

  2. Chicago has a Chinatown but I don't know how many cities do. I've spent a good deal of time in Seattle and I don't remember a Chinatown there.
Great pics and good tourist info.
Oh, I have no idea of why - but your blog feed on my blogroll is stuck on a post 2 months ago.

  3. That's strange abut the blogroll. Only thing I can think of to fix it is delete my blog feed link and re-enter it.

  4. It's working ok today. If you did that, it worked.
BTW I have my own blog in my blogroll so that I can check that it is working.

  5. I love markets like this! And, I think I've actually been to this one. My mom dated an Englishman once upon a time and he lived in Philly -- we would go visit him often and I remember him taking us around the city. London (Canada), where I went to university had a great market that I used to shop at -- $20 could go a long way back then!
Paddy Whack's looks interesting -- I could spend some time there. :)
