1st Hocky Injury

Nothing serious, don't worry! Brandon was skating yesterday, bit down too hard on his mouth gaurd and cracked a tooth in half. Luckily is was a baby molar. I had to take him to the dentist to have the tooth extracted. Brandon was a bit wary of the needle the doctor pulled out to numb his gumbs, but then when the needle went in Brandon started to giggle. Thats right - giggle! My son is so goofy! Now he is doing fine, all numbed up, gauze in mouth, proud of his first hockey injury!

  1. Is Brandon having a funeral for this one too? I can tell from this picture he keeps you laughing! My boys mouth guards look like pancakes from chewing on them all the time. Does Brandon chew on his too? Thank goodness it was a baby molar! I have had so much dental work done and I can't remember ever giggling when the needle went in, must be a good dentist.

  2. Wow. I had no idea this was even possible. And here I thought mouth guards were supposed to stop all injuries ;)
