TGIF

Each week I look forward to Friday.  It's the beginning of the weekend!
Looking back on my week…
~
This is the coldest our area has seen the last two years.
~
Hubby went to a hockey game without me with a friend.
While I cursed his name watched the game from home.
~
Brandon took a slap shot and broke his expensive favorite stick!
 ~
My grandmother moved into a retirement center.
She is lovin' it!

Happy Friday!
Enjoy your weekend friends.

  2. Your grandmother is BEAUTiful!!!!! - http://hootin--anni.blogspot.com

Btw, I think you'd have the advantage to see the hockey game at home...see much more than being at one seat in the bleachers. Right?

  4. I hate breaking sticks that way. The composites are getting so expensive. Glad to see the NHL start again though.

  5. This is his second stick he broke this season. Ugh! It's such an expensive sport to play. Yes, I am very happy NHL hockey is back!

  8. I seriously think our weather is flip flopped! We had 43 degrees yesterday!! This morning we have snow but it is still not very cold! It has been a very Spring-time-like winter this year. I am not complaining! xo

  10. given your recent "car-in-the-wrong-place-and-time" (accidents?) it was good to see the speed showed 0 when that picture was taken. I guess if the slap shot scored it would have been worth the broken stick.

  22. I am glad your grandmother is happy. I hope to be boxed up with a few friends myself. We have already planned some fun activities that are sure to get us kicked out!! ;-)

My hubby once went to hockey game in DC without me. He came home smelling like the beer dumped on him by the guy behind him, hahahaha. Yipes on the broken stick. Better the stick than a body part, eh? Have a great weekend Tami!

  23. Oh, I couldn't take that cold! Sorry about the hockey stick.....are they expensive?

  24. I have another blogger friend who is a fan of the Hurricanes. They would be my next team to route for because Flyers traded Rod Brin'amour to the Hurricanes years ago. Same year they won the Stanley Cup (I think).

  25. It's a lot of fun. Especially watching it in the stadium. My son would love to play pond hockey. I'm sure that what your relatives in Wyoming do!

  26. It's been cold here, too! Definitely hockey weather, though ;-) Talk your husband into coming to Carolina for a game and I guarantee you won't be left at home to watch on TV :-)

And yay for your grandmother enjoying her new home! I know that must be a relief!
