Maggie

Saturday we brought home our beautiful puppy,Maggie.

Maggie is a Chocolate Lab.

7 1/2 weeks old.

Brandon want to name her Fire Hawk.

Ummm.  No.

 She already loves to be cuddled.

 She had the most gorgeous blue eyes.

I am surprised how calm Ellie is with Maggie.

It's really cute the way Maggie is following Ellie around the house.

I'm in love with her already!!

Conversations with Brandon {World Travel}

Todd is going to England in a few days.  Brandon was asking questions about the places his Dad is traveling to.  (Note: Brandon is 16 years old).

Brandon:  Is Dad going to London Paris?

Me: Wait. What?

Brandon:  Isn't Paris in London.

Me: (chuckle). 

No, Paris is in France and London is in England.

Brandon:  Oh, for awhile there I thought Dad was going to New England.

Me:  (Laughing.)

Brandon:  Where would you like to go Mom?

Me:  I'd love to go to Ireland again.

Brandon:  I wouldn't want to go to a foreign country.  I'd go to Mexico.

Me:  (ok, now really laughing hard!)

Brandon: What??  Mexico's on the same side as us.

Me:  (Crying because I can't stop laughing).

These photos were taken in May by my son, Brandon.  He was working on a school photo project, which was to take a picture capturing a dynamic black and white.  Brandon didn't like the way these photos turned out in black and white and never used them in class.  I like the photos just the way the are.  They capture the rainy month of May that we had.

Maggie {10 weeks}

Maggie has learned to climb the steps. 

 This makes me really nervous.

I got her a purple collar.

Favorite toys this week is a tug of war rope and a stuffed bear.

Mother's Day

I am lucky to have such wonderful boys and a loving husband!

Todd added another charm to my Pandora bracelet.  This charm is a heart with many different versions of the word 'mom'.

Ahren had chocolate covered strawberries sent to me and Brandon brought home flowers.

Zachary is in FL for school. He called me in the morning and it was good to hear his voice.

  I missed him more so today. 

 It's my first Mother's Day that not all my boys were with me. 

I can't explain how sad it made me not having all three of them together.   

Of course I cried!

Mother's Day was spent having brunch with my family and my BFFs family.

Brunch was yummy!

Drinks too!

 A parent of one of the little girls I watch sent me flowers with a beautiful note.

Mother's Day was a very special day.

My husband won the Procrastination Award!

In our starter home we needed window air conditioners because it was an older home without central air.  The beginning of each summer we had to drag six air conditioner units from the basement and put them in windows throughout the house (we had a three story house) (feel my pain?).

When we bought our new home, it was a blessing not having to take those bulky air conditioner units in and out each season.  

 When we moved, one of those air conditioners ended up in the garage of our new home.  I'm sure my husband had a very good *cough* reason why the air conditioner hitched a ride in the moving van.

 We bought our home in 2007.  

The first three spring seasons I asked my husband to get rid of the air conditioner.  

The next three spring seasons I demanded that my husband needed to get rid of the air conditioner.

Every year he said he would get rid of it.  Every year it did not happened.

I finally had enough.

This spring I threatened to highjack his golf clubs!

7 years later…… bye bye air conditioner!!

Conversations with Zach {Random Puppy}

Mom, I woke up this morning with a random puppy in the living room.

(Random Puppy?)

(How do you wake up to a random puppy?)

WHAT???????

You can't have a pet!

I think it's Geno's.  

Him and his girl broke up and he has class. LOL

(Love the grammar).

Who is Geno????

One of my friends.

He should have asked, don't you think?

He probably asked my roommate.

(Probably?)

It's your apartment.  

If the puppy ruins anything, you are responsible.

He could pee on the carpet.

Already did but I cleaned it up. 

Calm down Mother.

(Calm down? Seriously?)

You need to take paper towels and step

 on them to really soak up the pee.

Yeah, it was just a little and I stopped him.

You realize puppies like to chew things up.

You have watch him.

I caught him a few times.

(Oh boy!)

Do you think I can take him in the car so I can

 go through drive thru?

(Now this is a cute question.)

If you don't have a dog crate, then yes, take the puppy.

Okay.

He is a cute puppy.

Looks friendly too.

Doesn't bark or anything.

(yet!)

What does Geno plan on doing with the puppy?

He's coming back over to chill.

He's not just going to make it live with us.

(Make it live with us??)

He's probably going to try and give him away.

So this is the last time I'll see him probably.
