We are having a superbowl party Sunday night. Personally, I just want to have a party to celebrate my new kitchen floor (haha). Todd likes to make chili in the crockpot. I am going to make lasagna and garlic-cheese bread. My friends are bringing gnocci and a salad. (Gnocci is a potato/pasta italian dish ~ and it is so yummy!) Since none of us or our friends care who win the superbowl, we decided to have little bets; such as, who wins the toss, who scores the first touchdown, etc. $20 buy in. And each question will be worth a certain number of points. The person at the end of the night with the most points wins the pot!
What is everyone else doing Superbowl Sunday? Kathy, can you get the game in Germany?
Superbowl will be on pretty late on this side of the pond. Brad was planning for an all-nighter before the Eagles blew it! Now he doesn't care at all : )
ReplyDeleteSorry Brad!
ReplyDeleteOh good, no over-zealous fans! When the Giants aren't in it the super bowl parties are pretty calm around here. Sounds like your party will be fun :)
ReplyDeleteNo we still haven't figured out our free TV but even so no football so bummed ! Your party sounds fun! I have to say in all the restaurants here they serve Ghocchi Germans are big with their potatoes worse than the Irish! Have Fun! Go Steelers!
ReplyDeleteWe are always ready for football, hockey, baseball, basketball, and lets see what did I miss? It is a good thing I am a mom that likes sports. I wish we were having a party, that sounds fun! I hope you put your chili recipe on your other blog. The football pool sounds like a fun way to spice up a super bowl party when you don't care who wins. Good luck I hope you win. Enjoy your new floor.
ReplyDeletePeople are just coming over and bringing food. I am just supplying the house and TVs.... Easy, huh? xo
