New Years Resolution

  • I wish for a happy, healthy 2009, for my family and for my friends.
  • I plan to spend more time doing what I really enjoy. Scrapbooking, my family, hockey and lacrosse games, gardening in the spring, etc.
  • Letting go of the "small stuff" - putting an end to stressing about things I can't control, and working on concentrating on the things I can. I will try not to let things bother me. (I worry to much about what other people think).
  • I will try my best to listen more, and be there for friends who need me.
  • I look forward to making new friendships, and nurturing the ones I have.

How about you? What is your new year resolution?

5 pretty purplexing comments:

  1. I have no resolutions for 2009 other than to take it one day at a time. I did however, make a business resolution for 2009 which will assist with our law firm. Have a great day! xo

  2. Happy New Year! Those are great resolutions....might have to adopt a few of yours.

  3. Happy New Year to you and your family!

  4. Great list! I have not even thought of mine yet. I guess I better start thinking about putting a list together. We are a lot alike I worry so much about what other people think. I am so happy I came across your blog. I look forward to keeping in touch through out 2009!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family!

  5. New Year's Resolutions. I don't normally make them, because they are generally weight related, and I don't usually achieve my goal weight, so it's an ongoing project. I need to update my blog and will itemize my resolutions which are not weight related. Your's are very sensible ones and I hope you achieve them.
